Alex Otti, former APGA candidate, returns for Abia governorship race. He declared his interest to run again in 2019. He made this known on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Ngwa High School, Aba, the venue of his official declaration. In attendance were a huge crowd of his supporters. He debunked the rumour that APGA is factionalized. It would be recalled that he contested for same post in 2015 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA ). For record purposes, Otti is a former banker and a financial expert. In his words: “I have decided to contest again for the governor of the state because the Pharoahs of Abia must be forced to let Abians go free.” He lamented that the incumbent governor, Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu has failed to ensure regular payments of salaries and pensions and also   address the infrastructural deficit in the state. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the Ekiti state guber race, Olusola Kolapo Eleka, may not find it funny as he had difficulty voting because the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC)'s card reader failed to read his Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

Fayose must pay for his sins - Sagay

It may not be easy for the incumbent Governor of Ekiti state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose after exiting office at the end of his tenure. This was made know recently by Prof. Itse Sagay. In Sagay’s words: ‘ Fayose has been sinning against God in the last four years’. According to Sagay,  Fayose has been wishing President Muhammadu Buhari death during his days of illness – thereby sinning against God . For those who do not know her: she is from the clan of the Kardashians, and the youngest in the clan. She rose to fame through her cosmetics company ( Kylie Cosmetics ) which was launched only two years ago. She is the number 27 on the Forbes list of richest self-made women in America and is worth $900m. So by this figure, she is set to become Forbes’ youngest self-made billionaire.
